These activities change with the season, so find the most appropriate activity for you. If you’re looking for a really, really cool thing to do in the summer, there’s nothing hotter than making your own glass flower. We currently have several glass flower, as well as pumpkin and snow flake activity dates available. If you already have a group of 10, please contact Amanda or if you are an individual you can sign up by clicking on the hyperlinked dates below. Hand-Made Valentine Card

Create your own beautiful hand-made Valentine cards. This group activity will give you the tools to create your own beautifully hand-made cards that you will be proud to send to your loved ones. Activity will last about 2 hours and each person will go home with their own hand-made cards. Suitable for adults or children, ages 6 and up. Groups must consist of at least 12 people. Activity is offered January–February 2010. Please call at least 2 weeks in advance to reserve your date. $20 per person for adult groups. $12 per person for kid groups.

Heart Glass Paper Weight

Create a heart shaped paper weight for that special someone. This group activity will allow time for each person to make their own glass heart and choose their colors for $29 per person. Groups can add copper accents for $39 per person. Items will need to be picked up at a later date (guaranteed by February 14th). Suitable for ages 10 and up. Bring sunglasses and wear a cotton shirt and pants. No sandals, shorts or synthetics. Activity will last 2 hours. Minimum of 10 and maximum of 12 in a group. Activity will be offered January-Februrary 2010. Call at least 2 weeks in advance to set up your group.

Ceramic Vase for Mother’s Day

Come get messy in the ceramics studio and create a beautiful vase for Mother ’s Day. Each person in the group will create their own hand-built vase. If your group has prior experience on the wheel then we can set up a wheel project for an additional cost. Activity will be offered from March-April 2010. Project will be available for pick up about four weeks after activity date. Call at least 2 weeks in advance to set up your group. $25 per person (minimum cost of $250).

Paper Weight for Father’s Day

Looking for a unique gift for Father’s Day? Come to the Indianapolis Art Center and create a paperweight. Each person will choose the shape and color of their project. Items will need to be picked up at a later date (guaranteed by June 21st). Suitable for ages 10 and up. Bring sunglasses and wear a cotton shirt and pants. No sandals, shorts or synthetics. Activity will last 2 hour. Minimum of 10 people and maximum of 12 in a group. Activity will be offered May–June 2010. Call at least 2 weeks in advance to set up your group. $28 per person.

Portrait Painting

Are you looking for a fun, creative, educational and unique activity for your school group? Portrait painting would be the perfect activity for you. Groups will learn the proportions of the face and create their own self-portrait. Ages 6 and up. Activity will last 1.5 hours. Cost is $12.50 per person. Minimum of 12 people in a group. Activity offered August–October 2009.

Glass Pumpkins

Come create a pumpkin out of glass. Choose from a variety of colors for your pumpkin and stem. Minimum of 10 people and maximum of 12 in a group. Activity offered September–October 2009. Call at least 2 weeks in advance to set up your group.

Snowflake Ornaments

Create your own snow flake in the glass studio. Variety of colors to choose from. Activity offered November-December 2009. Call at least 2 weeks in advance to set up your group.
