Frank Springer Circle

Like many other cultural organizations, the Indianapolis Art Center has a planned giving program. Planned gifts that benefit the Art Center endowment are invested (currently with the Central Indiana Community Foundation); the income provides support for the Art Center’s annual operating budget. There are several ways to make a planned gift to the Art Center’s endowment including cash, a bequest or appreciated securities. Another option—the charitable gift annuity—provides income and tax incentives for the donor, while also supporting the future of the Art Center.

In 2007, the Art Center renamed the highest level of the Renaissance Society in honor of Frank Springer. The Frank Springer Circle will recognize those donors who support the Art Center through a planned or estate gift totaling $25,000 or more. These gifts will be invested and the income used to support Art Center exhibitions and programs for generations to come. Our goal is to grow the Art Center’s endowment to $10 million by 2010, and thanks to a generous bequest from Frank, we are well on our way.

The Indianapolis Art Center accepts gifts of cash, stocks, and bequests to the endowment.
