Access Art

Access Art is a program of the Indianapolis Art Center’s Education Department, which has provided scholarships to more than 800 students since its inception. Tuition, materials and assistants in the classroom are covered by each scholarship.

The Art Center reviews applications of students who have been recommended by their teachers, school principal or counselor, parents, or social agency professionals.

How to Apply

Students submit a Scholarship Application form and a Statement of Financial Need form, which the Art Center uses to determine scholarship eligibility, financial need and admission to the Art Center. In addition, each student must submit a letter of reference from someone who is familiar with the student’s artistic, academic and work habits.
