When is the Broad Ripple Art Fair?
The Art Fair takes place every May. The Indianapolis Art Center Broad Ripple Art Fair presented by Fifth Third Bank and OneAmerica will be held on May 16 and 17, 2009. Saturday 10 am–6 pm, Sunday 10 am–5 pm.

What is the Broad Ripple Art Fair?
Established in 1971, the Broad Ripple Art Fair brings together more than 225 artists from the U.S. and Canada, booths from local cultural organizations, a children’s creative area, gourmet food courts, a beer and wine garden and live entertainment on four stages, Ruth Lilly Library and Frank M. Basile Auditorium. The Art Fair takes place in ARTSPARK on the grounds of the Indianapolis Art Center, located at 67th Street and College Avenue in the Broad Ripple Village Cultural District.

More than 25,000 attended the 38th Broad Ripple Art Fair in 2008.

Where is the Broad Ripple Art Fair?
The Art Fair takes place on the grounds of the Indianapolis Art Center, the 12-acre ARTSPARK and the North Side Optimist Opti-Park, located at 67th Street and College Avenue in the Broad Ripple Village Cultural District. Parking is available around Broad Ripple or you can take a shuttle bus from the following locations: AT&T employee parking lot, Broad Ripple High School, Broad Ripple Park and Glendale Mall, overflow parking lot. Does the Art Fair charge admission?
Yes, the Broad Ripple Art Fair does charge a minimal admission fee. The Art Fair is the Art Center’s largest annual fundraiser; the proceeds from admission, beverages and art activities benefit programming. The Art Center appreciates the continued support of dedicated patrons.

What does the Art Fair offer for entertainment, food and fun?
The Art Fair has four stages, Ruth Lilly Library and Frank M. Basile Auditorium of live entertainment, beer and wine gardens and gourmet food courts. In addition, Kid’s World has several art activities for art-enthusiasts of all ages. Spin-a-pot is an Art Fair favorite; patrons can throw a clay pot on the wheel for a minimal cost.

Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed. No outside food, drinks or coolers are permitted. No rollerblades, bikes or skateboards.

How do I sign up to volunteer for the Broad Ripple Art Fair?
Accepting volunteers up through the Art Fair. It takes more than 400 volunteers for the Broad Ripple Art Fair to be successful. Volunteers are needed in a variety of categories: artist and cultural group areas, vendor assistants, gates, information tent, Marsh Kids' World, set up and tear down, signage and floaters.
